Applications for commercial beam time at HEARTS@CERN in November-December 2025 is now open!

The HEARTS project is now opening the call for companies and institutions seeking to use its CERN facility for commercial means to carry out space electronics testing with very high energy lead ions.

The HEARTS@CERN facility is aiming to offer users up to 150 hours of commercial beamtime at favourable rates for a run scheduled this November and December. Find out more about the HEARTS@CERN facility parameters and typical beam properties offered here.

Interested users can express their interest through a registration form at this link, with the deadline set for 20 July.

The planned user run this year follows on from a successful campaign in 2024, when 10 companies and institutions successfully tested components and modules at the HEARTS@CERN facility. Among last year’s users were Airbus, Axiom Space, Mynaric, TESAT, and The Exploration Company.

Read about last year’s run in this article, and hear from the users about their experience here.

If you have any specific questions, you can contact the HEARTS@CERN team via hearts.project@cern.ch.
